Free Haircut

No, I DO NOT give away free services but Malloree sure does!! She is so creative!! I cleaned through my school kit this weekend and she wanted to check out what was inside. Malloree thought it was a great idea to make her own kit. She got some paper and a pen and started drawing. She drew a blow dryer, curling iron, comb, brush and hairspray. She cut her hairdressing supplies out and made a "bag" to keep them in. It was so funny, she did all the construction of the bag and the supplies on her own! Malloree labeled the kit "hair design bag". She really wanted clients, obviously, free haircuts is a great marketing technique!

Flip Flops

For the past week or so I have been seriously obsessed with summer clothes, flip flops in particular. I can't stop thinking of them! All the different styles, colors, embellishments, etc. It's too much! I can't take it! I can't buy them all. What am I gonna do?

"I Want To Run"

Every Thursday the girls have an evening with Nick's grandparents. They go to dance class, dinner and go back to their house to get changed for bed, then they bring them home at 8pm. Well last night we got a call at 7pm saying Malloree fell and cut her chin. Nick told them to bring her home so we could assess the damages. She came in holding a wet rag to her chin, still crying. I looked at it and knew she needed stitches! We jumped in the car and went to urgent care, she kept saying "I don't want stitches, Mommy". We got to the Dr's office & he confirmed she needed them. She FREAKED!!!! The Dr came in with the tray, she seen the needles and went even more psycho! She was screaming and crying but the Dr was fab! He leaned over and said (in your best Vietnamese voice)
"Malloree, do you trust me?"
Mal nodded
He said "I'm not gonna lie, this is gonna hurt a little but it will stop in a minute and you won't feel anything else"

She calmed down until he came at her face with a needle. She once again went crazy. I'm a [almost] 29 yr old woman and a needle coming at my face is gonna freak me out a little, too.
It ended up not hurt one bit!! NOTHING!! Can you believe that? She ended up getting 4 stitches and an ice cream.
I asked her what she was thinking when they said she needed stitches, she said that she thought "I want to run!" She's so funny, we're so blessed to have 2 amazing little girls!!

She's obviously milking it!
